Alisma 'Water Plantain' - Shallow Water Plants (Bare Root)

ALISMA PLANTAGO-AQUATICA (WATER PLAINTAIN) - A stout aquatic herb with oval-shaped leaves, which may be rounded or heart-shaped at the base. The small lilac flowers are concentrated in bunches on the stem. Flowers in late spring-early summer. Needs full sun for best flowering. Leaves mostly aerial but with some floating and submerged. Can grow up to 36 inches tall. Zone 5.

ALISMA PARVIFORUM-AQUATICA (SPOON LEAF PLAINTAIN) - A beautiful aquatic perennial that produces delicate pinkish-white petals. Flowers at the end of spring through late summer. Lovely green foliage with the white airy blooms that resemble the perennial baby's breath. Can grow up to 24 inches tall. Full sun to part shade. Zone 4-9.
