Pond Netting 101

Netting can be added seasonally or used year-round. During seasonal use, make sure debris is removed often - a leaf blower works well if you have one. If debris is left to build, the netting can easily become weighted down, ultimately collapsing into the pond. The same can happen with snow accumulation as well. Fish can get caught in and under netting, so be careful.

We offer a variety of options, from 3/8” to 3/4” mesh, available in a small 7’ x 10’ up to a massive 30’ x 100’. Most coming with ground stakes. We even carry domed kits which include fiberglass poles, plenty of extra netting, and ground stakes. These are nice because they won’t disrupt tall plants and prevent leaves and other debris from weighing the netting down into the pond. Available in a 7’ x 9’ and 9’ x 12’ framework.
