How To REMOVE ROTOR ON AQUASCAPE AQUAFORCE PUMP

To ensure your Aquaforce Pump is functioning properly, it should be inspected on a regular basis. If you’ve noticed the water flow has lessened, and you’ve already thoroughly cleaned the outer cage, the next step is to clean the internals and inspect the rotor.

First, make sure the pump is unplugged and tubing is disconnected.

Unlock the latches by pulling outward. This will separate the upper and lower cages from each other. Put the top aside.

From here you’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver.

Remove the screws from the pump restraining bracket. Put those aside and remove pump.

Then, remove the screws that hold on the pump cover.

At this point we can slide out the rotor itself.

Loose debris can be flushed out with clean water. If there’s excessive scale build-up on the rotor, clean with a mild vinegar solution and a soft-bristled brush. Reassemble in the reverse order.
